Billy's NEW MUSIC - August 12, 2009
Billy is currently working on a new record.
He recently put together a CD of 14
demos, recorded at home that he is considering
for inclusion on the record.
The CD is appropriately titled ROUGHS.
The next step in the process is to
book studio time, hire musicians and
decide on which songs to include.
To help with that process, he is seeking feedback
from you, his loyal fans, as well as Sponsors
who would be interested in helping with
funding the record.
Without the support of a record label,
artists are seeking new ways to raise the funds
necessary to record their music.
Fans interested in sponsoring Billy can contribute
any amount via PayPal.
Anyone contributing a minimum of $ 25.00 would receive
the Roughs CD now, and a copy of the new CD when
the project is completed.
Anyone contributing $ 50.00 or more would receive the Demo CD,
the finished record signed by Billy
Anyone contributing $ 100.00 or more would receive the Demo CD,
the finished record signed by Billy and mention in the liner notes
on the completed record
Of course donations of any amount are gratefully appreciated :)

Album Release Party, Nashville - September 20, 2006
On Tuesday, September, 19th 2006, ‘round about midnight, Billy Block’s Western Beat (12th & Porter in Nashville) played host to the album release party for Billy Falcon’s new record, MADE MAN.
With Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora in attendance, excitement permeated
the theatre, which was packed beyond capacity with eager fans, which were treated to some amazing performances as Billy took the stage with his band the Falcones, (featuring Michael Spears and Bryan Hall from Maydayground, April Sandridge and Billy’s daughter, Rose Falcon, contributing backing vocals, Bruce Bouton on Lap steel, Tony Harrell on keyboards, Jonathan Yudkin, strings, and
Kelly Keegy of Night Ranger, drums) and performed songs from his stellar new record.
Billy opened with a smoking take on Made Man, followed by Mr. Smith, and Sugar, which set the tone for the evening and had the crowd rockin’ from the gate!
Then, Billy, with daughter Rose sharing vocals, performed a moving rendition of Brick off a Bridge. Rose then took center stage, stunning the crowd with her performance of Melt Away, a track that may just make a grand appearance on her second record!
Billy continued with Happy Hour, which had the crowd crying in their beer, and
proved to be the perfect intro into a moving performance of Good Cry, a new song recently written by Billy and Rose that they intend to record as a duet.
After the crowd had a “Good Cry” Billy and the Falcones rocked the rafters with
Better Than a Girl, a song reminiscent of something the Glimmer Twins would be proud to have written.
Then Billy launched into the opening chords of his signature song,
Power Windows (Pretty Blue World 1991), which had the crowd buzzing, when suddenly, Jon Bon Jovi strolled on stage and the place erupted as Jon joined Billy and sang an amazing rendition with the crowd joining in.
After telling the crowd how he was a fan of Billy’s music since the early days, and what a great writer he is , Jon and Billy performed Just Older, a song the two of them wrote in Billy’s kitchen in Nashville, for Bon Jovi’s multi-platinum Crush album (2000)
As they sang the chorus they were joined by the overflow crowd:
I LIKE THE BED I'M SLEEPING IN
JUST LIKE ME, IT'S BROKEN IN
IT'S NOT OLD - JUST OLDER
LIKE A FAVORITE PAIR OF TORN BLUE JEANS
THIS SKIN I'M IN I'S ALRIGHT WITH ME
IT' S NOT OLD - JUST OLDER
NOT OLD - JUST OLDER
They may be older, but tonight proved they can both still rock with the best of them! FalcOholic
